Motorola SLVR L7
Not until February...
I just talked to a Cingular Rep. and they said that the SLVR won't be available until probably February. He said that the phone "is not functioning the way they want it to." Also, it's possible that it will be stripped of some of it's features to lower cost. ☹️

MOTO has been promising this phone for Q3, then they said Q4..... Q4 is almost over. Nobody seems to have any information, and when I emailed motorola directly, they blew me off with some crap about having to wait for my carrier to release it..... Any thoughts gang?

Heard if everything goes right with approval and delivery still slight chance for release of december 17th, a week before christmas...if not then early 2006.
moto has disappointed their consumers this year, but i love their phones. i dont care about the camera quality, only the sensible and chic new looks.

but now it is going to be pain. moto announced they will release the new models a day before they are sold in stores.

I have seen this phone all over ebay... anybody know what the deal is? Are these fakes? Should I go for one of these phones or wait for the USA release?

They are apparently out in the UK and Italy. I just bought one off eBay from a guy in Italy. Should arrive tomorrow.

Bought from giucasti using paypal. No problems. The only problem I have is that the signal gain seems to be weaker than my RAZR. Still need to track that down. Oh, and its somewhat customized for Telecom Italia so when you get it you just need to go into the menu and change language from italian to english... unless you read italian. :-)
