Hype?
This phone is anticipated heavily. I hope that it is worth it. i did not think the original Razr was all that, just a slim v551. It has 850, so you know Cingular will carry it. I wonder how much the price tag will be. Yeah, I know look matter, but this is a bar phone. Bar phones tend to be different when it comes to ergonomics. Hope it is worth the hype. Some say that it is worth its weight in gold or platinum.... How much is 3.03oz of gold/platinum worth these days anyway???

Umm, yeah, interesting idea from Motorola. What could it have cost them to put a 1MP camera instead of the crappy VGA. You will be paying enough for the phone already. I like how the phone looks though. Much better than the V3.

Yes this phone will be worth the hype As a cingular telesales employee, razr v3 owner and all around moto fan. I can't wait to start selling that phone. I am awaiting my v635 as well i here that is another outstanding phone from Motorola. so yes the v8 will be well worth the hype and price. I expect the price to match what the v3 was when it first came out. I don't see it being in lower than $350 and thats just because it is a bar phone.
