Sandisk write protected!?

I bought a 512mb sandisk transflash card, I have a card reader but I cant drag any files to the card, it says its write protected.. What am I doin wrong?

write protected? hmm... i just bought one and i am able to click and drag items to it. this may be of no use, but try and open up your computer settings, click on the disk drive for your card reader, and make sure you have the folders: DCIM, which should have the sub-folder 100SSPIC(for pictures) in it; you should also have a MEDIA folder; and a VIDEO folder with a sub-folder 100SSVDO in it. now go to the start menu while keeping the card reader window open and open up whatever file you are trying to transfer. right-click on the file you wish to transfer, and copy that. now go to the card reader window and go to the appropriate folder and paste the file there. if this doesn't work you may want to contact san disk. sorry if this doesnt help.....

Problem solved, I had the card set to lock and that was stopping me from writing to the card. Silly me....
