Motorola sells blue tooth for non blue tooth phones, it’s a small adaptor that you can attach to the back of your phone or keep near your phone when using it! It’s not the end of the cell phone world if it doesn’t come with blue tooth – WORK around the problems don’t cause them!

I think what most want is unrestricted bluetooth not crippled like sprint/vzw are guilty of. People would like obex transfer so they don't have to pay $15 a month just to get their own pictures off the phones they bought and paid for. People want bluetooth to sync or tether their laptops. It's a lot more than a headset issue. It seems to be deceptive advertising to me. Why want bluetooth when you can't even use it for it's intended purposes. Sprint is too greedy, i'm so glad they don't have service where i moved.

GSM ALL THE WAY!!! Or at the least, a CDMA carrier with the attitude of GSM.

Im glad Verizon and Sprint don't deal in automobiles. Cause then you'd be buying a car with a V8, but then later realize that they crippled it and it can only run on 2 cylinders LOL.

GSM is digital. I know Cingular's been on digital for at least 3 years. Hardly anyone uses analog anymore.

The adaptor can be used for any phone that takes a 2.5mm jack, as for where you can get it- most stores sell them. just ask for the blue tooth ear pieces for non blue tooth phones. =]

Hello,

The problem with these 'Bluetooth for non-Bluetooth' devices is that you actually have to answer the call on the phone itself, not just the heaset, which is what real Bluetooth phones offer.

Is this the situation with your adapter? Or can you actually answer and end the call without touching the phone and just using your Bluetooth headset?

Thank you,

/e

The issue is not that you can buy adapters for non-BT phones. We all know those are available. The issue is that with a phone that has BT built in, you don't have to have an extra piece of equipment hanging off the phone. You can have it built-in and just use the headset. No extra pieces.

It's just a shame that Samsung would release a phone that's this high on their tier and it doens't include BT. Soo...
