Does anyone know if the a800 has improved video at all? Is this just a plain 15 fps video like say the 5600, or is it somewhat improved???

According to the information I have, video length will only be determined by the amount of memory you have on the phone. So if you have a 512 card, well, you could record just about anything.

Hey wilocrek, upon the A800's release this week, were you not supposed to cease psting in this forum? I mean, there can be only one, right? 😛

Well actually the A800 has not been released in retail stores yet, so I still have until the 15th, plus the bet was directed at tuvolume, or whatever his screenname is and he never responded, so it looks like I'm in the clear regardless. Perhaps if you had any balls at all you would have accepted my challenge, but clearly you are one of those pu**sies who wait in the shadows untill the fight is over. Good thought though, thanks for paying attention!!!

Oh your welcome wilocrek, it's my pleasure. 😁

Though I do believe Tul took you up on the offer, he just changed it to the 30th. No matter though, if you want to consider yourself in the clear, that's cool with me.

As long as you know to be a little more conservative in the future with your arrogance and high-and-mighty attitude, that's more than enough.

Oh and what do you consider retail? Because my local Best Buy has them...

"I wouldn't say the 15th. I'd bet by the end of May.

don't worry, I'll keep it confidential;)"

So as you can see smarta**, he never accepted the challenge, which is good for me since as you stated, at "your" local Best Buy they have them in stock, I was referring to an actual Sprint store. However retail is retail, so obviously I was wrong. As for the arrogance, I just recipicate what is thrown at me, so maybe your really talking about yourself. I can at least admit when I'm wrong, although I'll admit I'm a bit rusty, ususally never happens 🙂

the question was not answered by wilocrek....

The answer is no... the video is unfortunately still 15 fps. I was told, however, that this is not a limitation of this phone or the mm-5600, but rather a sprint-imposed network limitation.

I forgot to mention in my other post of today that the maximum capacitiy is 512 and will not accept larger sizes. The mm-5600 takes a $73 sandisk mini-sd card.
