Samsung SPH-A800 / MM-A800
s710a eat your heart out.
But if you must make a comparison, I'm game...
The S710a has a great camera, we have yet to see this phones potential.
The S710a includes high-speed data, the A800 does not.
The S710a does not have crippled Bluetooth, the A800 will.
And lastly I believe the S710a is capable of more memory. (Correct me if I'm wrong, Im not sure what size the microSD cards come in).
Comparing these two through phonescoop.com, it appears the S710a has alot more ups than the A800.
The S710a has bluetooth and the A800 does NOT.
AND
The S710a has speakerphone and the A800 does NOT!!!!!
I stated the S710a does not have CRIPPLED Bluetooth, and the A800 does.
The A800 does not have bluetooth at all, so how can it be crippled??? Look at the specs....NO BLUETOOTH!!

The SE has EDGE, equivelent to 1xRTT on the Sprint network, which the A800 has. Secondly, the A800 has a 2MP auto-focus camera, the SE has a 1.3MP non auto-focus camera. Thirdly, the A800 includes Voice Signal's new Speech-To-Text dictation technology, so the phone will type text messages for your. Fourthly, they both have high-quality QVGA display's.
There is a lot more in common between these two phones than you listed.
As for the A800's camera, we have yet to see what it's capable of. So saying it's better is just a guess on your part. Opposed to the S710a's, we already know it's good.
We also have yet to see how well the Text-To-Speech recognition works, whether its more of a hassle or convenience.
I know there was alot in common, but I focusing more on what one has and the other doesnt. I give it that much that the A800 has some cooler stuff than the S710a like the camera and Text To Speech. But right now it only sounds good on paper, as for how good it is, we hav...

Dude, GPRS is a dog compared to 1xRTT. If you do a Google search you'll find the exact speeds. Usage-wise, I've found 1xRTT to just feel tremendously faster than GPRS, using very good phones for both and laptop connection. But the speed difference is also evident in the phone's browser.
I briefly tried EDGE on a S710a handset, and it in no way blew 1xRTT out of the water - in fact, it felt just like 1xRTT did. While EDGE may theoretically trounce 1xRTT, it's not there yet - and new standards will be in use before it does (EV-DO and W-CDMA)...
I think th...
