Samsung MM-A800
Can anyone that currently owns this phone give me a user's opinion on how the phone performs? Battery life, Signal, Reception, Earpiece Volume (Calls, MP3s/Music, Sound FX), Applications (Camera, Sprint PCS Vision services, Games, MP3 Player, etc.), and Speech-to-text messaging.
I've played around with it at Best Buy a few different times, but would like to read some in-depth, personal reviews of people that currently own the Samsung MM-A800.
(I've already read the User Reviews on this site and a view others, so no need to point me to those).

I love it. Great signal strength, love the slider, i think the camera is excellent (some on this site dont think that), although it does suffer in low light conditions. Menus are easy to use and customizable. The speech to text thing is more of a novelty, at least for me. It get most of my words right, but most of the time when i text, its during times when i cant talk, so kinda defeats the purpose... It doesnt have t9 texting but i kinda like the ezitap better, it will finish words and even commnly used phrases. Mp3 player is solid, but you'll have get a card reader, if you dont allready have one. So far i really have enjoyed this phone, it hasnt let me down once, but that is of course all my opinion, the next person to post could say th...

Great phone period no matter what anyone else might say negative about it! Not one issue with me everything works great! From making calls to playing mp3s. Best phone out in the US!

Thanks for the words, Jimbo. I have basically made my decision. I've tried just about every brand phone out there and Samsung just keeps me coming back with unbeatable design and innovative features. So, HELL YEAH, I'm getting this phone next week! 😁

I have this phone... but i was playing around with it a lot... and the slide is a bit lose.

Supposedly, you just have to tight/loosen the mechanism screws (located under the battery on the back of the phone) to get the slider to your liking. Hope this helps.
