Anybody use a 1GB microSD yet?

What the subject say^^^^ just checking before I buy a 1GB microSD.

Better safe than sorry for buyying 🙂

I believe it can be used. Because when the phone was originally made the only available cards were up to 256 MB's and they said it can do up to 256..because thats all that was avaliable...now they are up to 1 Gig.

You should be able to do it.

☚ī¸ i just got my v635 i have service with tmobile i bought it on ebay from a company in china. i knew it can have upgradapble microsd cards installed but i dnt knw were to look and its not in plain sight. do i have to take the phone apart?

Pull the face cover off and you'll find it on the left side. Push on the SD card and it will pop out.

The TransFlash slot is cleverly hidden under the removable metal outer bezel.

I'm using a SanDisk 2GB and it works fine. The music directory update takes a while when using the java based mp3 player embedded in the firmware but that is the only drawback I've seen to date.
