I purchased on unlocked V635 and I was able to get all the Cingular setting to work just fine. However, the "roaming indicator" (solid triangle) is on constantly. The Networks the phone sees are Cingular 310-380 and 310-170, the phone is set to "automatic- I'm trying to figure out why the phone thinks it's roaming. I'm on Cingular in Los Angeles.
Any help would be appreciated.

I've had this same phone since Feb. and I have the same problem. I live in cen-cal, but no matter where I go it has the symbol. I've heard it's because the phone came from Canada (mine did at least) and it still registers roaming or not roaming as if it's still from canada. I'm not sure if that's really true, but that's what I heard. Hope that helps! At least now you know you're not alone! 🤤
