v635 on T Mobile?

I've heard lots of people talk about using their phone on Cingular, but what about T-Mobile? Any reason why I don't hear about people doing that? I like their price plans better. Also, anyone get a plan and phone through www.mobilebee.com? They've got a really good price on the phone with a plan, but it makes me think that there is a catch. Would that phone be locked? I need to be able to switch out SIM cards easily. Thanks for the help.

The V635 should work just fine for T-Mobile. More than likely the reason you keep hearing about Cingular is that most of the people into the newer phones are on Cingular.

😁
I received a V635 10 days ago and have been using it exclusively on T-Mobile in central California. RF is good. All I had to do was put in my sim card. I love the phone, but because I have not flexed and flashed it, I have delayed making a review. "So far, so good." But I have a number of features to activate yet, such as T-Zones, and so I will withhold comment until I am doing well in all respects.

What about the EDGE internet function? Does that work with t-mobile as well?

I cannot say: (1) I have not yet configured that function and (2) Edge is not available where I live.
