What does it mean that the video capture is "500 KB max file size / carrier-dependent"?

How long can the phone acually take video clips?

Rich were you able to test this part of the phone at CES?

How much will this phone cost?

The specs say that this phone will operate on 900 as well.
Does this mean that this phone will come to T-Mobile?

It has Bluetooth, speakerphone, megapixel camera, and video captuere.
Is this the phone that everyone has been waiting for?

Thanks.

I would think the max fiel size and being carrier dependent is part of being able to send the video over the network, some carriers will only allow file of "X" size to be sent over their networks 😲

😁 You mean 1900, not 900. 1900 is for T-Mobile USA, and the 850 is for Cingular. The 1800/900 is for overseas. This phone is QUAD-BAND meaning that it can work for any carrier. If Cingular gets it first, it will be Quad-Band, but if T-Mobile carriers it, they will disable the 850MHz frequency since they don't use that. It would then become a Tri-Band cause will only allow the 900/1800/1900 just like they did with the V600. Cingular sold it as a Quad-Band phone, but T-Mobile disable the 850, leaving it to Tri-Band! But when you get it, just unlock the phone, and it will become Quad-Band again.

Actually, Cingular isn't exclusively 850mhz, they use 1900mhz also in the Southeast USA. Cingular loves marketing their phones as "World phones" so it makes since to leave them enabled as quad-band so they will be usable in more countries.

Plus the fact that all Cingular phones are unlocked for compatability with AT&T sim cards. It's great. I have 3 V220s and 1 V551, all work with Ciungular/AT&T/T-mobile sim cards.

Actually they used to come unlocked. Now they do not. The latest batch of MPX220 an RAZRs and V551 have all been locked. 😡

again, your asking a person to make predictions. no one in this forum has pyschic abilities. settle down and wait like everyone else to see how the phone will perform.
