SCH-I730 and Apple

Before i go buy this phone....

Can someone tell me if the SCH-I730 can sync with an apple powerbook (via bluetooth or usb)?

Yes, the i730 CAN sync to Mac OS X 10.3 or 10.4.

That having been said, it matters to what data & applications you wish to sync with (Mac's native Mail, Calendar, etc; Palm Desktop, Entourage ). Some will work with iSync. For others you will need a 3rd party app or conduit. i am only familiar with two: PocketMac and MissingSync.

I did not end up choosing PocketMac, so i haven't used it personally. However, consensus from many in user forums was that PocketMac was more problematic, not as user friendly, and had erratic tech support.

MissingSync comes in several "flavors" for sync to Palm OS or Windows Mobile 2003 ((WinMobile 5 in progress but not yet out)). MissingSync Windows Mobile was just released this summer...
