VZW Samsung i730 International Edition???

Spoke with my VZW data rep yesterday and he mentioned that a new release of the phone is forthcoming and that it is GSM capable!

Wow! An International GSM, CDMA, WM5, Broadband, WiFi, BT device (perhaps with camera too?) !!!

Anyone have clues on features for this version?
Also, the Korean i730 version (AnyCall) has hard dial keys (12) rather than mini (IMHO useless) keyboard. I wonder if that will be the design choice for the slide-out tray on the Intl. i730? I guess my manly, fat fingers are just too big for the keys on my i730 keyboard and so I never use it. I am amazed how Blackberry owners do it with their similar keyboards.

Overall, I am happy with my i730 except for the few bugs that have been mentioned here.

The phone you speak of is I think the Samsung i830, which this website already has info on if you look for it in the phones section. Yes it is GSM and CDMA capable but at the expense of WiFi. And it isnt shown yet with a camera.... basically its identical to the i730 except GSM instead of WiFi...I'd personally rather have the WiFi by far. I'll stick with my i730. 🙂
