Is it possible to get live streaming video in the i730. I tried to access the live shuttle launch from the yahoo site yesterday and it did not work. I have windows media 10, which came pre-installed, but have not yet installed real player for pocket pc. If anyone knows if it is possible to get live streaming video and if so what programs/settings needs to be installed it would be appreciated.

For some reason when I try to access the ppcvidz.com site from my i730 I am notified that the page I am looking for "does not exist." (I know it exists cuz I've visited it from my PC) This happens even though I have a solid Wi-fi signal. Whatz the deal! Also, from my i730 I tried to download and install the orb.com setup. I can download it, I see the file, but when I try to run the setup on my i730 I keep getting this annoying message that "there is no application associated with this file. Open file from it's application." Please, help me bypass this so I can watch streaming vidz and download movies ( LIKE I'M SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DO).

Check out ORB.COM. Register with ORB and ORB will push your TV channels that is availabe on your PC's PVR card (must be a supported one by ORB) to your phone/internet PC. TV channels are opened in the Pocket PC's Media player. Very slick.....

What's a PVR card and how do I get one? I don't have internet on my PC but I do on my i730. I've already gone through the steps (@ work) to set up an orb account but the thing won't complete it's setup and so when I login to my account on ORB.com I am only allowed to utilize the sample account. What's the deal? Please help.

Hey everybody. The initial question was the same one I had, but I don't want canned video from a website. I want to be able to go to CNN or MSNBC or any other web site and watch their streaming video. I thought that was what JPLUNKETT was asking.

Armed with that, does anyone know why our devices won't play the streaming video?

Go to www.smartvideo.com. You will have to pay a fee to use the service which is kinda like Verizon's V Cast. I saw a demo of this on the TREO 700w. On the Smart Video website you can see what phones their video streaming service is compatible with. The quality was really good too!

i would be very careful on the streaming video..read the terms and conditions of your contract..the constant streaming of audio or video is against VZW policy..your unlimited data plan isnt designed for that since streaming consumes way too much spectrum than the measily 45 bucks/mnth is worth..they are monitoring that and could suspend your service..be carefull..regardless of what some of these hacks say on this site..trust me
