I just got mine for free, plus tax.
Vzn's online store sells them for $199, minus a $100 promotion, equals $99 with a 2 year contract (no data contract required). I applied my New in Two $100 and got the phone got the phone for free. I had to pay the socialists in Sacramento sales tax on the full retail value of the phone, $48, and I got an extra case for about $13 plus tax and a car charger for about $30 plus tax. VZN even Fedexed it to me for free. The total was well under $100. I'm sure I could have done a lot better on the case and charger else were, but this was quick and convenient.
The only downside to this is that the resale value for those who paid $600 for theirs will really suck.
