I couldn't find anything about the Motorola Q on phonescoop, so I figured I'd go out to the masses. The Q is one sweet device. Get more details at ...

I'm hoping Verizon will carry this phone sometime next year. Plus, since it's not a silly "slide open" phone, there might actually be some decent cases for it.

BTW ... I'm currently an AudioVox 6600 user ... that thing bugs me to no end. I think the device itself is flakey, then add MS software on top of that ... no bueno!!

After the MPx fiasco I sure wouldn't get my hopes up about any Motorola Windows Mobile phone. For all we know it is vaporware.

Even if the Q actually ships, I wouldn't hold my breath for it to show up on Verizon. To date Motorola has focused its Windows Mobile efforts on GSM. Perhaps the Q will come out in CDMA as well, but I'm guessing the plan is once again GSM first.

There has never been a Motorola PDA device offered by Verizon, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
