I am sure a lot of you have seen the picture of the i730 next to the Magician (if not just do a google search for i730 and Magician), but that was total crap. I was looking forward to this phone because of its size, but now I am having reservations....

Based on the dimensions specified, it's virtually the same size as the Treo 650. Now, if the Treo and Samsung are both offered by VZW, I will have to think about it. I had been waiting for the Treo, but this phone may make me wait a bit longer.

You have got to be kidding me treo 650 vs the i730? The i730 wins hands down.

1 it has EV-DO enough said

2 if you need more it was WIFI

3 Still not convinvced bigger screen

4 more than likely it won't have the problems the treo has ie rest after hard rest 😲

5 the camera model has a 1.3 mega pixle camera

6. all this in t form factor that is about the same size as a treo but with a bigger screen an not to mention WM2003 and fully forward comptiable with wm2005 (or so the rumor is)

What else makes the treo so much better? I was all over the treo until I heard about this phone now I am just sitting here twidling my thumbs waiting for the "up comming" release date 🙄

My point exactly. I was all over the Treo 650 until I read about this phone. I have an iPAQ, and would have preferred staying with that OS, but I hated the size of all the Windows-based phones. That is why I was considering the Treo 650. Now, I think I will stick to waiting for the i730.

I am still very happy with my StarTac (best phone ever made), and have the luxury of waiting, if not the patience.
