This looks like the upgrade to the E715. I think its headed to T-Mobile because the specs doesn't say 850MHz, which Cingular needs, so get ready T-Mobile. 😁

i bet it will go to t-mobile as well.. keep in mind though cingular doesnt require or need 850 to run..850 is just a luxary really

No. But who uses Cingular with a handset that only works on the 1900mhz band? You'd be stupid to buy this phone if you're currently using Cingular's service.

Just got this phone a few days ago, unlocked, and using it with Cingular in northern CA. Reception is fine, as long as you stay in remotely populated areas. If you live out in the countryside and your reception is shaky as it is, I probably wouldn't recommend it, but for somebody living in the suburbs who works in the hills and chills in the city, it works great! But no, w/o the 850 it won't be released on Cingular's network.
