This phone is amazing. Two years later and this phone still outperforms almost everything on the market. I think this possibly was my best purchase, EVER. And for those looking to upgrade, LG has a sweet looking phone coming out. Its a skinny version of the V and its black. Looks amazing.

I agree and thank you for putting into words how I feel also. Im a construction worker, not very good with words.

So there isnt anything out there better than what we have? the 8100 is even better than this "Chocolate" phone my daughter has been begging for? Whats up with thaT? Guess its peer pressure...
So the razor didnt fare that well? Flop?

Can you tell me a bit more about this "V" phone?
At least a model number?

I too have the 8100 since March of 06. Then the 8300 came out. I wasn't too impressed except for the VZ Navigator option now on the 8300. No biggie. I think the next version of this phone will probably be out in July 07 timeframe. The 8100 came out in Mid-summer 2005. Then the 8300 in Mid-summer 2006. I can't wait to see what will be coming this year. Probably we will see something in rumorville by April or May. Or at least I hope anyway. 8100 Rocks yo

Ditto here too. On a monthly basis I'm still looking at what's new out there and haven't seen anything topping my 8100 in terms of functionality, build quality, features, etc. We also have an 8300 for my fiancee, but I find that one a little cheaper in build and with the resolution on the outer screen being crap, I find it not having the greatest first impression with most (as I demonstrated by reading texts over Thanksgiving on my outer screen). Really, the only thing it lacks is VZNavigator support (which we use the 8300 for if we take a trip and need it). With my 1GB MiniSD in there, I have about 10 Seinfeld episodes to watch (when I'm bored) and a few hundred MP3s... so no need for an iPod or Zune or anything either.

For anyone lo...
