Getting an LG VX 8100
Hello. I am about to get the LG and i can't decide beetween the LG and the Samsung SCH a 950, I like that fone but i hate the dial on the front! Dosent the LG have readable txts on the outside. Which 1 should I get???? 😁 Also can you guys send me sum cool tips on what this fone can do make sure everything is step by step

Like I wrote in my compro yesterday (https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/p_forum.ph p?fm=m&ff=665&fi=747494) I'd honestly consider purchasing a new 8100 over an 8300 (our "fam" has both). I just can't get over the crappy outer screen quality and the cheaper feel of it. Whereas the 8100 was hands down better than the old "huge" 8000, there's was a definitely one step forward, two steps back with the 8300. I hope the 'next' one (which should include EVDO Rev A and Bluetooth v1.2 I hope) brings back all the lost features and quality.
And FYI you can currently purchase new, unopened 8100s via eBay, Amazon, etc. It's still quite available 🙂

My friend dropped my phone in a glass of wine. Can you believe it?
Anyways I have insurance, which for some reason means I had to pay $50 for an 8300.
The cnet review likes it better than the 8100 though.
