Can I instal a .jar file on my phone
I found some software on the web to be able to read the bible for cell phones and it is a JAVA application. I want to know how I can install it. I have a mini SD card and the data cable. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Where did you find that? I would love to be able to do that. Hopefully someone will no whether we can put it on the cell phone.

Applications on the vx8100 run on Brew (Verizon's proprietary software) not Java. 😢 This program will not install on the vx8100.
I haven't found a "GIN" Get it Now application that will even support e-books much less the Good Book.
Alternatively, I have only been able to view e-books by emailing the text to myself with either Hotmail (msn), Yahoo mail or G-mail and using the Mobile Web 2.0 browser to open my mail in order to read my e-books. Of course this costs minutes and is kinda' time consuming. 👀
