VIBRATE PROB
WTF wen i put it in vibrate only the phone still rings 75% of the time
...
I'm right there with you on this one. The only solution I could find was to turn off Ringer ID. 😡

With my 8100, I've narrowed down the problem. I set the phone on vibrate, and it stays like that until I get a text message. After the txt message, anyone who calls will cause my phone to ring instead of vibrate. It seems that the text message switches the modes from vibrate to ring.

You simply need to put your phone in vibrate mode by using the master volume control on the left side of the phone (outside) turn it down until it says vibrate only that should solve the problem.

No this doesnt work. Thats why this is a BIG problem. Wehn in Vibrate mode, no matter which way you set it to vibrate, After the phone vibrates once, the next time it will vibrate and ring. I check the phone after and still says VIBRATE only. WTF We need this fixed ASAP

After reading your reply, I put my cell phone in vibrate mode, setting it like I said to earlier and then I called my cell phone 10 times from my home phone; It remained in vibrate mode with each call, even after I answered it a few times as well.
So, having said that, do you still think its a LG VX8100, model wide problem? Unfortunately, I think it maybe just your phone.

I just did the same test. Well similar. I called my phone 7 or 8 times and answered 5 of those times and it stayed on vibrate. I also had others call me and it still stayed that way. Now in my case all I did was press and hold the * key. Good luck.

Okay, to fully test the vibrate mode: call a few times, send a text message or two, then start calling a few times. That will have my 8100 ringing and vibrating when in Vib mode only. This is a problem specific to certain 8100s. My roomate got the same phone as me, and his doesn't have the problem.
