I just got the 1GB memory card today. I copied about 30 songs onto it so far. My question is...How come when i hold the play button on the outside of the phone, it says "no songs found on memory card". but when i go to the manage memory in the menu, it displays all of my songs?

Did you convert them to .WMA format using Windows Media Player 10 or keep them as MP3's? If you kept them as MP3's then you need to re-enable the MP3 player via the secret menu, if using the VCAST Music Player, then you need to convert them to .WMA's.

is there any way to not use the vcast player. i dont really like it. Anyways, i kept them as MP3's (all i did was hit sync in the windows media player), but they dont show up the in my mp3's folder, they show up in the my music folder. (i want them to be in the mp3's folder). And yes the MP3 is enabled throught the secret menu. Thanks in advance...

haha let me recap that for you, i was all over the place...
1) Can i use a different means of playing music other than vcast? ( i really dont like the loading time it takes)
2) how do i get my songs into the my mp3's folder instead of the my music folder?

Just a side note you if you cant get the font play button to work you have to make that short cut go to that button.
