I have formatted my memory card and I transferred a song to it by Syncing it with Windows Media 10 by moving it to the card but when I go in to the menu and choose the My MP3 option it says that there are no songs on the card. What am I doing wrong???? Also how do you enable the buttons on the outside of the phone to play the songs. I have version 7 upgrade. Thanks for any help here. Brent

First of all, if I am understanding you correctly, you used WMP 10 to sync a song to your card, which would have put it in WMA format, which is what you need it to be to use the VCAST MUSIC player, then you changed to MP3 player? The reason it doesn't show up is because you can't use the 2 players together. You either need to use VCAST MUSIC and snyc like you did, leave it on VCAST MUSIC to listen to them, which your front buttons will work fine, OR you need to enable the MP3 player and put front buttons on MP3 use (you can find out how to do this by searching the forum) and then drag and drop your songs into the MY_MP3 folder on the card. Basically you have to pick one or the other. They don't work together.

yes, verizon wants you to buy thier ringtones.

bitpim is easy to use. try serching the forum for the answer. thats how i found it. its on here!!! you use bitpim to put them on your phone after you made them. as stated before a good program to make them with is goldwave. www.goldwave.com you'll need the LAME plug in to save the ringtones.

Like Mary said, pick one MP3 or WMA.
menu
000000
11 music settings.

if you enable MP3 a MY_MP3 folder apears on you card. if you go with WMA use the MY_MUSIC folder. The drag and drop assumes you are using a card reader. drag the song and put in in the right folder just make sure the format matches (above). I use MP3's just because I'm lazy and don't want to convert the to WMA. but I hear you get more bells and whistles using WMA like a playlist and organizer. Good luck.

I cant tell you anything about the mp3 player but i use the vcast player and it works great. The front bottons work as they should. To turn it on you just push and hold the center play button on the front and it will come on. hope this helps
