I've currently got ver 4. Is it worth going to ver 7? What are the benefits and are there any features of ver 4 that are lost. Thanks. sli22

You lose some Get it now things and it goes to propeitary stuff for your ringtones and other things.

But.... V7 also corrects some glitches that were wrong with V4. With V4, there was a delay with the camera and taking pictures. Also, the volume in the earpiece was extremely low at times... I could hardly even hear while I was driving. Version 7 fixes those glitches. Although it does take your Get It Now Applications away... if you have to re-download them, and there is a charge, all you have to do is call customer service and get a credit for having to download it again. They seem to be really cool about stuff like that 😎

I'm just waiting for the NEXT software update... the one that will hopefully fix the little glitches with the VCast Music software 😉

I have V7 on my phone and still have a delay with taking pictures. I don't think that the V& Upgrade did anything to fix that. My phone came with V7 already installed.

I'm staying with version 4. I never had the volume issue so if it ain't broke why fix it? I have all my tunes as MP3's and can't see any great benefit to going to (and converting everything to) WMA, but then I could be too dumb to notice.... just my 2 cents.
