Recurring Reception Problems with the 8100

Ok, so I am a diehard LG user. I've had the 8100 since it came out and multiple LG phones before this one. I love everything about this phone. I had the "rebooting" problem with the original and about a month ago finally took it to the store where they gave me a new one. The rebooting problem was fixed (i think b/c the upgrade to Ver. 07) but i had horrible reception. I took that one back 2 weeks later and they did a diagnostic test and gave me ANOTHER new one. I've been out as far as Summit and mine works great! I don't pay much attention to the number of bars as the call quality seems to independent of this. I had crystal clear calls with only 1 bar. Don't give up it's a great phone and so much more.

It is not you and you are not crazy 🤣 The first one I got had horrible feedback or echo. Not only that, there was static. I took it back and exchanged it for a second one and it has worked like a charm. I am so glad it did too because the alternate to this was the Motorola e815 which I didn't like as well after trying it first.
So keep at it. Once you get one that works to your satisfaction you will be pleased. 🙂

That's true, but so frustrating. Noone should have to keep swapping out (on any model) until they get a "good one". They should ALL be good to begin with. Don't they have quality control people to check these things out before they are put on shelves?
