Has anyone had a problem with the phone rebooting? This would involve either V04 or V07 firmware. I am just curious because I have had a reboot problem after getting the V04 update months ago, that I did not have with V01.

I still have Ver.4. Mine rebooted after I downloaded Xringer and Yamaha ringtone apps in GIN. They gave me a new phone and I have not used GIN for ringtones as of yet.

I told him I had once downloaded Xringer and Yamaha ringtone software. He said it was floating around his work place that Xringer caused problems with Verizon phones. So I am waiting until I get Ver.07, to try it again. I have been told that Verizon ringtone and Sony Musicbox software were the ones some Verizon techs here were using.
When I first got the 8100 with Ver. 01 I used Xringer ...

I had ver.04. I went to the VW store today and they flashed my phone with the Ver .07. Of course I lost my MP3 player and a got the VW music instead. I didn't mind that too much considering I haven't even used my MP3 player yet. What upset me was I lost ALL my games that I had previously downloaded. The store tech informed me that I would lose them but I can re-download them again and to contact VW (611 on phone) and they would credit me the for the re-downloaded games. Well when I went to download them again most of my games were not even on the available list. Then I was informed that the games I originally had may not be available for sometime. Let me tell you I was pretty ticked off about that. After going back and forth between the tech...
