MIDI ringtones+memory card=ringtones?

if i was to puta midi or mid (w/e) ringtone on my memory card could i use it as a ringtone on my phone and if so how? also does this work with the MP3's on my memory card

No, neither way will work. In order to put ringtones onto your phone (besides GIN, of course) is to use Bitpim along with either a data cable or a Bluetooth USB adapter.
