How about calling VZW and talking to a tech. Then have them pass you off to another tech, who passes you off to another tech. Then have the third tech finally tell you that you need to call a tech at the VZW Data help line for help that you asked the first tech about. 😡

I can relate fully. But on the whole I think most of my experiences have been at least decent.

My story is not that bad but i have 1 verizon store that is all about selling things instead of helping the customer. But i went to that store anyway because it is very close. I aske the MANAGER of the store if they had V07 for the 8100 and she said "NO" so I asked her you don't have the update that fixes the volume prob. and camera delay and adds Vcast Music, she says," ohhh we only have the update that adds Vcast music" , so i said whatever Ill do it. She goes on to tell me that the update diables the mp3 and that there is no way to get it back, I told well there is a way its just in the secret menu, but kept on insisting that you couldn't so I got my phone switched to mp3s played them in front of her and left. Today I went back to ask a q...

Wow this makes me soo mad. Verizon is becoming a money nazi and is really giving their customers bad support. Their success is getting to their heads and I don't like it. Soon there ganna make us pay to add contacts, lol.

Lol...go into any store with a phone that requires the 50 dollar fee to be replaced, or is out of warranty. Or even better....go into the store with a broken phone, and another phone that you want to activate on the line until you can upgrade or whatever. Under any of those scenarios, tell the tech you want your contacts moved from one phone to another....and then watch the look on your own face when they tell you it's 10 bucks....especially when it used to be free....wrap your noodle around that one.

and can i just say who is the blind guy picking the phones they get..i mean cmon in comparison to other company's these are the ugliest phones..it's like if it looks like a cool phone [maybe the razr being an exception]verizon will either not get it..or get a slightly retarded version of it [calling nokia!!]. 👿

I went in to get my phone flashed to VO7 and asked if my pix and flix would be safe. After assuring me they would, I picked up my phone only to find out they were completely wiped. I even had told them that I had important stuff and could first back it up, but they told me if would not be a problem...
