just got my phone flashed with v.07 and it works great. the only thing my phone lost were the games on gin. my pics and flix and everything else stayed the same. also my phone is not in extended network or have the flashing triangle. its in the normal mode. and your still able to get to your mp3s with the outer buttons. go to settings and tools, select tools, select shortcut key, select play key and then select my mp3s. and there it is. close the phone and hold play.

MP3 player not working? You have to do more than just change the front buttons. You need to go into the secret menu (press Menu then 0000000) then choose #11 Music Setting, and enable the MP3 player. You do this first, then you go to Tools-3. Shortcut Key-2. Play Key-then choose My MP3s.

Doesn't anyone read these forums?????

I don't know about V07. I have V06 and it works easily and quickly. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS I JUST GAVE ABOVE. That is the only way to do it (at least with V06).

Got v07 yesterday. Seems to have fixed the volume problem, but that's all. BT, not. Still disconnects from my Scala, more than ever, and won't reconnect automatically. Also, disconnects from my Jabra BT500. Didn't before. Beginning to think LG engineers suck. Every time they update the software, they f**k something else up. 🙄

I have tried the Moto HS850, H500, H700 Jabra BT250, BT500, Plantronics M2500, Voyager 510 and Logitech Mobile Freedom. I get the clearest sound, no static - no echo, on both ends from the Scala. Very weird. I know Mary has the same problem as you, yet mine is almost perfect. My phone is never more than 2 feet from my headset. The next best for me seems to be the BT500, but since the v07 update, that too is disconnecting.

Which headsets have you used after having the v07 update? Would you give a brief evaluation of them, post-update?

Thank you.

BT500 - more static since update. Scala 500 - some static but still won't stay connected. Using the Bluetrek G2 for 2 weeks (v07) with absolutely no static. Perfectly clear on both ends. Also, nXZEN perfectly clear, but only lasts a day or so on full charge with about 25 min actual talk time. According to LG, Moto headsets are not compatible, but some people here seemed to luck out.

As I said, some people lucked out. I had H500, H700 and both had static. Are you in a heavy populated area? I was told by a tech supervisor, if too many people are using a particular cell tower at the same precise moment, it results in reception loss and possible static or echo. Some areas are just dead and results in loss of signal.
