update for the vx 8100
i just got off the phone with a vzw tech in georgia and he said that they are aware of an update to get the mp3 player working and nothing else, he also said that it should be out by the end of the year. im going to call my local store here in baltimore to see what they can tell me.

But taking action doesnt mean getting on here giving false updates. But I do agree that we need to get in their a$$es about this. For example which one of you would buy the Dodge Magnum and get home and find that the HEMI is missing and then let Dodge tell you to wait for the update? Not one of you!!

ok so here is what happend, i went to the vzw store today to finally figure out about the update. the guy there told me that they have an update which will put the vx8100 up to version 5, but it is not released to the public yet so he could not put it on my phone. then he told me that it would be out in 2 weeks from today.
SO THERE! everybody ****ing shut up about the update. IT IS NOT OUT YET!
