Update Is Approved but not released
I just talked to tech support and they said that yes the update has been approved but that they won't be able to get it out to the stores for another 1-2 weeks. He said if it goes smoothly I could expect it in the next week but that it could take up to two weeks.

Albany, NY I have called every store in this area, even the ones just over the border into Mass.

The majority of the techs I talked to had no idea about it. BUT if you ask them to pull up their approved device list through InfoManager they will see that the most recent software version is T81VZV04. At that point most of them say that they don't know much about it and that when it is released to the stores all of the stores will get it at the same time.

Store in central NJ says there is an update, but not available yet. Tech did say it should be soon though...

just got back from vzw in central ny-update not available yet-and he told me it's only to enable the mp3 player,he said it probaly won't fix the other bugs,like the volume or the camera delay,just relaying what they said,don't shoot the messanger LOL

WeaponX, you said that they have S/W version T81VZV04 already, and this makes you think it's an update? doesn't the 04 at the end of the code imply that it's on version #4? how is this possible whenever we're still on version #1? Where's #2 and #3?

It happens all the time, when LG gives it to Verizon it's version 2 but after Verizon does what they want to it they may have gone through a few revisions. This time it happens to have gone through 2 additional revisions. If you looked at the approved device list you would see that the 7000 is a version 10 but do you think it really went through 10 updates?

I just called my VZW store and they guy said that the tech will be in tomorrow to flash my phone, guess she left early. He said that is does enable the front buttons for mp3'2.

OK so I called the VZW store this morning. I was going to bring my phone into to be flashed and the tech there said that version 4 is "in the system" but hasnt been released , 1 to 2 weeks.

Anybody know what the update covers? I would guess volume, camera and possibly bluetooth echo.

Hey all. Just called my verizon store today. The tech said that the update is set, and that we should have it no later than about 3 weeks from now. By the way , i'm in Wisconsin. Let's hope. 🙄 🙄 🤣

I was told the next update will be avialable in SIMI VALLEY, california monday 8/22... enable the phone to read mp3s. so im guessing the mp3 player. my source was a friend that works at vzw. all he knows is what the description on the computer says. hope its like the video we saw on the mp3 player
