Software Version, Please Help!!
I have to take my phone back to tech support at my Verizon store this afternoon. Can anyone please help me out by posting their software version on their phones?
MENU -> SETTINGS & TOOLS -> SYSTEM -> DEVICE INFO -> SW VERSION
Mine is:
SW Version: T81VZV01
PRL Version: PRL 50314
ERI Version: ERI 4
Browser Version: 6.2.3.2
Get It Now Version: 2.1.3.20

Looking through mine, I have everything the same except the PRL. I have 50316.
PRL is the Preferred Roaming Location and I think this is based on where your services is. I am in Chicago, IL. Not sure where you are.
By doing *228 it should update your PRL.

I have a PRL Version of PRL50316. I am in Central NJ and just had my phone's s/w reloaded last Thursday.

Do you think "reloading" the software will help fix any problems? I know that's been suggested to me by an LG rep and a VWZ tech. I think I may try that this afternoon when I go in. He asked me to come in so that I could show him what the phone is doing with the pix messgaes and all the ???????? after a pix message is erased (there's a post about this). He suggested maybe reloading the software. Would that really help? 😕

I think it helped. I never had a problem again with the ???????? but since the reloading and adding a bluetooth, I've had all sound go out twice. Turning off and on solved the problem though. Reloading can't hurt.

this is my 2nd phone took my first back because it reset 3 times in 7 days ..... would not stop ringing while on vib only and del all my pics and left them as blank spots that could not be del .... they just gave me a new one ... so far so good 2hrs and counting
