The feature isn't disabled though. I watched a sales person in the store email a sound and assign it as a ringtone on an 8100. I have nearly 30 ringtones on my phone and I didn't pay for any of them. It's a 7000 though.

Besides what can it hurt? We may even be able to get phones that are full functioning.
