I just was browsing the Verizon Wireless site and noticed that in my area (08882) and the LGVX8100 is sold out.

I guess that is a good sign that the phone is selling well.

SOLD OUT in the East, too! (Sold out, or are they trying to resolve issues before selling more???)

It could also be that they want to prevent mass exchanges of the 8100 for new 8100's.

If you have any doubts, get a refund before the 15 days are up! You can always buy the phone again in the future (hopefully after all issues have been resolved)!

This phone is running our lives (especially mine!!) Ha,ha,ha!!

"new", meaning different ones for excnange, not newly rendered ones...

Okay, so if the "new" ones have updated firmware/software, can't the people who already have the 8100 just get that downloaded to their phone @ the store? Just curious if anything could be done (to a new "batch") that an update wouldn't be able to correct...

Thanks!

P.S.
I just checked the website for my area (VA) and it's also showing out of stock. Do you think that it's really b/c people are experiencing "issues"? Didn't they just completely remove the Motorola e815 from the website when they had to fix an "issue" with it?

Yes, they pulled the e815 for about a week. There were even articles on the internet about it disappearing.

The 8100 is still on the website in California, so who knows what's up! Yes, the e815 was completely removed for a few days, but the 8100 says "Out of Stock" and hasn't actually been removed from the website. It might be a plot to prevent current owners from exchanging their 8100's for new ones (hoping that a fresh one will be better than their old one).

If that's the case, that translates to ... "issue"!!

I have no issues with my phone. I my works perfectly. Accept for the delay when you take pics. Other than that, everything works great

My phone also seems to be working great on day two except for the camera delay thing. Maryland area was sold out yesterday online but the local store had plenty when I bought mine.
