Delete \dload\my_ringtone.dat
Delete \dload\my_ringtonesize.dat
Rename a small *.mp3 to *.mid. The phone can only ringtone an MP3 less then 2 megabytes.
Copy the mid (mp3) to \brew\16452\lk\mr
Reset the phone. You can ring your mp3s now.

Install BitPim on your computer, and set up your computer for either the data cable or bluetooth. When you plug in your phone, you will need to install drivers which you can find on LG's website (www.lge.com).
Once you set up the modem and com ports on your computer then you can configure BitPim. Currently, BitPim only works with phone CDMA selected and you can only access FILE EXPLORER.
Now you select some nifty MP3s. Keep in mind that the phone can only play ringtone MP3s which are 2 megabytes or less, so, you'll either have to download some small MP3s or make/crop your own.
