So far noone has unlocked the outside buttons. They work for the camera, but not for MP3s.

There have been a lot of other findings with this phone however. You can use MP3's as Ringtones so that should answer a few things of what the phone can do. 😉

I cant seem to find the original directions... So I'll just explain the basics.

1. You need a way to connect your phone to your computer (Bluetooth or cabling both work)
2. Get BITPIM and set it up so that the File Explorer works.
3. Under the \DLOAD\ directory, First backup, then delete the two files called myringtones.dat and myringtonesize.dat
4. Next you put your ringtones under \brew\lm\mr\ (I think thats the folder)

Before you copy your mp3s to this folder you must give them a bit of preperation. First of all, the total ammount of MP3 ringtones must not exceed 2 Megabytes.

Second, you must rename your *.mp3 file to *.mid. DOnt worry about the formatting as the phone will still play it as an mp3, its just that ringtones...

Thought I saw another thread that talked about listening to longer MP3. Is that just for listening to them and not setting them as ringtones and thanks again for all you help. O and by the way, Southpark ringtone, great choice!
