signal bars
What's the maximum number of signal bars you can have with this phone? I used to always get a maximum of 6 signal bars with my LG6000 but now it only goes up to 4. Is it because this phone is all digital and the LG6000 wasn't? BTW, I live in Queens, NY, if that means anything..

Signal bars vary from phone to phone...some only have 4 other 6. I know AT&T wanted all their phones to have 6 bars because they wanted to advertise that they had more bars of service than any other carrier (making it sound like they had stronger signal strength which was not true). Even if the phone was only getting 2/3 its signal max it would show 4 bars which most phones use to represent maximum signal strength.

4 is the total on this phone on my vx 6000 i got no service really at 1 2 bars at 1 bar on my 8100 i get perfect service
