A better selection of wallpaper and ringtones then other lg phones. I know you can you go to getpix and put whatever wallpaper you want on it, but I do enjoy the stock wallpaper that comes with the phone and I hope its not more yellow flowers and puppy dogs. The surfing/snowboarder on the lg6100 was cool. More of those would be nice. And more professinal ringtones would be nice also. 😁

What are you talking about when you say you can get them for free? Are you talking about the voice record function that you can set as ringtones?

I think that may be what gudgen is talking about. A friend of mine has the 7000 and I was looking at the "record" feature. I recorded a small clip of a song and set it as the ringer (just to test it out). It didn't sound as clear as the downloaded clips from Get It Now though. But then again, I did it in a hurry.

Won't you be able to just email ringers to yourself using PIX messaging? If you don't know what I'm talking about, with my vx6000 i just email the Midis to my phone using [yourphonenumber]@vzwpix.com obviously without the brackets...i hope this is the case because its a lot better to only have to pay 25 cents (Or if you are like me, Unlimited messaging works well) for a pix message rather than $2 for a ringer 😎
