Got a demo phone
Ok, this phone is nice. The Kenwood VZW store (Cincinnati, OH) has issued demos to certain customers. remember, Cincinnati is a major test site for Verizon Wireless....
The phone is fantastic but the wow factor is typical as usual....oh so neat but yawn at the same time.
This has to be on of the best color screens that LG has EVER produced except for their 535 (sprint).
I am going to take pictures of the phone...with me holding it...and the box...just so you all don't start bickering over it.
I have it, it's great....give me an hour or so and I will get these pics up using www.tinyurl.com or simply imageshack.us.
You will be surprised at how much smaller it is than the 8000.

What is the size of this phone compared to the 6000?? I would love to see one of LG's slider phones be released w/ verizon but this one is pretty nice looking (if you take that crappy looking blue cover off!!!!)

Did they contact you out of the blue to demo the phone, or were you set up as some sort of beta or test customer in advance? If not, why do you think you were selected?

Any chance you can pump your VZW contact(s) for info as to when the phone will be released to the humble and waiting pubic?

I too was invited to demo this phone and I declined at first but then went to Dublin, OH to pick it up.
For the other "beta tester" on here, c'mon now, we all agreed not to partake in this type of stuff.
Let's put it this way, it's a nice little phone with typical LG quirks. Bluetooth is nice for headset users.
Honestly, the size difference is because it's more round than square.
JT, are you going to use imageshack.com for pic posting? I really really wish you'd hold off until pre-release as we said we would.

and some of us have been waiting a long time
to see lg come out with a good bluetooth phone
that is so much better than the crappy motorola
i compare them to a harley davidson,now theres
a bike you can look at,and honda theres a bike you can ride!!! you want a name or a functioning phone!! i need say no more 🙂
