Question regarding Bluetooth and static..

Does anybody here own a phone or used a phone with Bluetooth and a wireless headset? I'm currently using the BT210 adaptor and a Jabra wireless on my 8000 and notice there is a lot of static.

If the 8100 has the capability of using a Jabra wireless headset then will the calls be clear or will there still be a lot of static?

i have a v710, had moto's 810 and 820 headsets; i live in a dorm and there was alot of static... like enough i switched to the wired. I then went home for the weekend and noticed static... not as much but still bothered me enough to not use the bluetooth anymore... someone told me it was because of all the electronics (phones, internet, etc) that caused it. Hope this helps...

I have been told that all BT headset transmits some sort of "crackling" noise when data packets are sent from the phone to the headset. However, the noise is dependent how good the headset and phone are matched. You may want to get your hands on a different BT headset and see if you can notice a difference.

Also, on the A210 adaptor, there is a slider switch located near the power cord input. You can adjust singal strength there to improve sound quality.
