I talked to insider rep today and this 8100 LG phone will be released July 1st as there summer phone.. it will be the same roll out price as the 8000 was aslo 🙂

Verizon always comes out with a phone around june/july as there "latest/greatest" and lasts through the summer end of year type deal..
Who is to know how true any of this is other then LG has 8100 in production.. we all assume and gather information as we here it.. but this was pretty definate imo..
Im holding off on buying the 8000 since this will be out july (hopefully june - with the full evo service).. and june my 2up is up so another $100 off the top 🙂

I called LG at their customer service phone number (Toll Free: 1 (800) 793-8896) And the customer service rep said the phone will be released in summer. She won't have a specific date until a week before it's released.

I Hope its released around my B-day...May 31..I'll be 18 so i can get my own brand new phone, plan and bill, oh yea and my discounts. And the 8100 is sexier than the 815

I heard that the phone is clear on the VZW markets but they are having issues in the Alltel Network and should see a release in May. My source is my brother in Network Engineering at VZW and he heard this from an LG Engineer working on the project.

i have to confirm with onyxsys, i work for verizon and we had a lg rep in the store a few days ago and he was saying that the phone would be release in june, first of july at the latest

Well I just got off the phone with LG and they told me the end of Aug beginning of Sept. which is actually annoying b/c my current phone is driving me nuts! 😢
