The early release photos show the phone with Verizons logo on the back. The other factor is this phone is EV-DO capable which is not something Sprint has yet.

If an LG has a VX in the model number, it is scheduled for Verizon...just like Samsung using SCH to ref. verizon.

also if you watch the video in the reviews on cnet, it shows the guy holding a working model and it is clearly a verizon phone. there is a check on the front screen. im psyched for this phone! i cant wait for it to come out

I'm excited for this phone too. I purchased the 6100 before it was even available and loved it, but switched to the Motorola V710 for the bluetooth, but it sucks. The cam is horrible, the bluetooth is bad, etc. etc. For LG to release a phone with EVDO, bluetooth, and a good cam, which LG is known for, I can't wait.

My brother works for Verizon and said that this phone should be out in March and that it is running behind because of issues working in Alltel networks. It could be launched for both Alltel and VZW since both are EV DO carriers in selected markets. Sprint might get it later when they catch up and launch EV DO.
