IS WAT THIS PHONE COMES WITH REALLY BLUETOOTH. ACCORDING TO VERIZON DEFINTION "Bluetooth is a low bandwidth, wireless networking technology designed primarily to replace cables for communication between personal computing and communication devices."

SO IF WE CANT REALLY SHARE DATA WITH OUR PC AND ENCHANGE PICS, GAMES AND OTHER THINGS IT NOT TECHNICALLY BLUETOOTH. WE SHOULD CALL IT WHAT IT IS, GET IT NOW WIRELESS.

ITS NOT BICKERING, IT A FACT. IF YOU OFFER A PRODUCT WITH A FEATURE YOU SHOULD HONOR ALL ITS FUNCTIONS. IT MONOPOLIZING WHAT THEY'RE DOING.

HERE AN ANAOLOGY FOR YOU cwcanty IF A LEGS CUT OFF WHAT REMAINS IS CALLED A NUB. NOT A LEG OR FOOT, A NUB.

#1, horrible analogy.

#2, all that is required, as of now, to use the bluetooth name is wireless connectivity to other devices. Thus, VZW is permitted to use the term Bluetooth.

So what you are doing is indeed bickering.

AN ANOLOGY DOESNT HAVE TO BE GOOD, JUST PROVE A POINT, SO GET OVER IT.

Bluetooth is bluetooth. Its a wireless standard allowing devices to communicate with each other. There are many more BT profiles that the 3 everyone always mentions here. Does the fact that other carriers that don't support all the profiles mean that they're phones aren't really bluetooth? I thought so.

Is this true?? The last I heard, you could not transfer any type of filed via bluetooth with Verizon Wireless. Has this changed??? Are they now allowing it for a fee?

And if so... How much per transfer? Is there a flat fee per transfer or does it depend on how much data you're going to transfer?

I don't have to pay, I'm a little too smart to be suckered by Verizon Wireless.

And considering you're here chatting as well, what does that tell us about YOU? 🤣

not for nothing but these aren't smart phones
so even if they weren't 'crippled' they wouldn't have enough memory for what people are looking to do
store a crap load of pix
alot of rings
plus add information like outlook

honestly its commendable that they have limiited it
to avoid bluetooth devices chatting with each other randomly...consumes battery and makes phone more apt to receive virus'
and th emarket right now for regular phones with bluetooth is really for the handsfree part of it
get it now products are usually pretty good as far as virus free...etc...so it ensures top quality
and if you want bluetooth sync with everything...buy a smart phone...the audiovox 6600 with camera..samsung i 730 about to be released as well

I totally agree with u... i personally don't mind paying the money for ringtones... as long as the network is secure. unlike sprint , cingular and t-mobile, i can know that the chances of having my phone hacked or crippled by a virus are small. Imagine how much i would have to pay to get a new phone when hit by a virus.

stillstock is right ... get a smartphone if u wanna get some of those features

To fully understand Bluetooth, you must read this:

I remember around 1997 when I visited Europe, America was the leader in technology in so many areas, including personal computers and electronics, and it is disappointing to see how that position has changed so quickly.
