has anyone thought about contacting LG directly about our concerns with new phones coming out? I mean, we have access to their address and who is working on the phone by the FCC patent/ID. take for example our concerns with the camera being CMOS, the cover being blue, the screens color and resolution.. I'm sure if enough people actually took the time to give the company REAL feedback on what we have learned about the phone, maybe something will change? but you can be greedy with it though and tell them they need to change everything about it and blah blah. being professional is KEY for anyone to take you seriously. if you are just like.. "yo that blue cover is WHACK!" or "what the **** with the CMOS camera?" then you will get no conside...

I wouldnt know CMOS sensors so quickly. I mean, yeah the majority dish out half ass pictures. but take the Samsung D500, it has a CMOS and it takes really good pictures for being a camera phone. Comparable, maybe even better than the S710a.

from what i understand cmos is another form of ccd. which is basically a chip for capturing and translating the light into a picture. cmos was a cheaper alternative to acutally ccd chips. cmos is what kodack digital cameras use and cmos chips are also what alow the camera to use less battery. I dont think there is a camer phone out there with an actually ccd chip in it. This was all from taining courses i took years ago 😕

Majority of digital cameras on the market use CCD image sensors, then there's a cheaper stuff that uses CMOS. Its very unlikely that you'll find a mid to high end did cam with a CMOS. And Kodak also uses CCD's in their higher end models.
