downloading ringtones

Does anyone know if you can download ringtones on line and then send them to your phone? Also, can you charge the ringtones to a credit card rather than your VERIZON bill?

Additionally, is there any place else besides GET IT NOW to get ringtones and how can that be done?

I use a service at www.freeringers.net you pay 7.99 for a year and you can create your own ringtones from cd's or mp3's on your computer as many as you want, very easy to use directions are on their site.

I have over 3 hundred ringtones and I have not paid for a single one. I use Wavepad to cut the song i want to 30 sec. Transfer it to my TFCard. Text it to my friends then save it to my phone from the sent box. Make sense? It's easy and Free !!!!

Are you with Verizon--they're tougher, from what I have learned.

It's really easy in IE7. Just play the ringer you like, then go Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Settings > View Files.

Copy the MID, WAV or MP3 file you just played, then just drag it to the phone with the data cable, or email if it is under 100kb.

On older versions of IE, you need to set Folder Options to view hidden files and folders, then drill to the Temporary Internet Files folder.
