Do I have a bad camera on my E815?

Any opinions or help?

I can't believe how poor the quality is of pics I take with my new E815. The pics look great on the camera screen, but when transferred to the computer, they are absolutely LOUSY. Cannot get clarity in the images no matter what. Even in bright outdoor light, a closeup on a face is fuzzy. Not blurry, just no detail or crispness. Very, very poor. Even worse then my previous V265, which really makes me wonder. I keep reading from some that their pics from the E815 are great, so I'm wondering if I have a bad camera on mine? Anyone? Anyone?

I typically send my cam pics to my email address. Costs for each, however.

If you transfer them to your TF card, you can put them on your pc for free.

The pics from the 815 are basically poor on the camera and the computer. Don't expect much from the camera on this phone unless you are willing to accept sub-par results! 😡

If you want good pictures and video, just use one of the new small digital cameras! 🙂

The camera on this phone is hardly worth the bother to take a picture! đŸ˜ĸ

I had an Audiovox 9900 earlier and the 815 can not come close to the high quality of the pics from that phone, near digital quality and at less pixels! đŸ¤Ŗ Even the LG8000 did better than this phone! ☚ī¸

That's kinda what I suspected. Apparently, it's just a crappy camera on this phone (and not just mine). I've seen pics fromthe 9900, and they ARE much better. I've also previously had the Moto V265 and the LG 7000, and BOTH took better pics (even the 265 with it's crappy screen, still took better pics than the E815. Somehow I just thought that a better phone (like the E815, which it IS..a better phone) also would take better pics... No Such LUCK!

the pics from my 815 are actually quite good considering they come from a phone. the video is not nearly as good. Obviously you do not have much flexibility in creating the photoe image but when taken properly they are very enjoyable of my 2 year old son.

I hear what you're saying, but it's apparent that this phone does NOT take very good pics (at least compared to many other camera phones). Of course, a digital camera will take much better pics, and we all have come to not expect GOOD pics from a camera on a phone. That having been said, some phones with cameras DO take better pics than other phones with cameras. So, all I'm saying is that the E815 does not take pics AS GOOD as some other phones that happen to be inferior to the E815. It's just unfortunate that a phone that is as good as the E815 in most respects does NOT take pics as good as other phones that are inferior to the E815 in most respects. My pics from the E815 (as they appear when transferred to a computer), appear without...

You've got to remember, the 815 is a PHONE! NOT a camera! 😕

The 815 makes a VERY good phone, but a poor camera. Just use it for what it is and you will be happy with it. 😉

My Sony digital camera also makes a lousy phone, but it is a GREAT camera! đŸ¤Ŗ
