Hi, I'm trying to decide which cell phone I want to get.

Here is what I want to do.
I have a laptop and PDA with bluetooth and would like to Bluetooth the internet from my Cellphone (preferably with hi speed internet) to my PDA and sometimes laptop.

I know you can do this with Tmobile (but they have no hi speed data network where I live), and Cingular (but they charge you extra if you do this).

So, can you do this with verizon with getting bent over backwards on charges?

Thanks

P.S. Weird that this phone doesn't have an analog band listed.

Cingular does not charge you extra. They don't charge me extra, I don't see why they'd charge you or anyone else extra.

But yes, this phone will more than likely be able to do that, just like the V710 can.

My V710 will not let me link with my computer for this purpose.

My best advise would be go with cingular if this is what you are looking to attain out of your phone.

The V710 supports that Bluetooth profile. The reason it may not be able to do this is not the V710 itself, but Windows actually, there are alot of reported problems with BT and Windows.

verizon crippled all of the v710 bluetooth features that they could so you would have to pay them to use the features !! like sending pics and ringtones from your pc to phone and vice versa ,and i beleive the crippled the streaming also!! check out march issue of laptop magazine theres a whole article on this !! lets hope they dont do this with the e815!!

The V710 has 3 active profile.

-Dial up networking

-Handsfree/Headset

And I forgot the third one. Bluetooth has nothing to do with streaming video.
