Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
E815 2GB TF Transflash MicroSD Memory Compatibility
Hello. Has anyone gotten the Motorola E815 phone to work with 2GB Transflash (TF) MicroSD memory? Anyone tried and failed? I bought some off ebay, the auction listed the E815 as supported, but it only worked briefly in my phone and now the phone won't format it and any PC formats it at 997 MB instead of 2GB, AND, when I talked to Motorola the tech claimed the phone didn't support 2GB (but she didn't seem to know what she was talking about...)

what brand of a card did you buy? I've seen reviews on newegg.com saying that there are certain brands of 2GB microSD cards that are being very problematic.
I would be up for anyone else's input on whether a 2GB card works on this phone though, I know the a-data one I have in my PPC-6700 wouldn't work in the Q that I'm getting, so I'm thinking that motorola caps their slots at 1gb at this point...
