I told my local USC guy about this phone being "tentative" for USC and he said NO WAY. I said "but...." and he said " NO WAY " So, what's the skinny? Anyone know? I love it that the outside light stays on permanently so you can see your number of bars etc.

This makes me wonder. What is the name of the human being that made the decision to list the Samsung SCH-A570 as "tentative" for U.S.Cellular??? What thought processes ocurred? And why? I have held this phone in my hand and I love it. But I'm NOT willing to go to Verizon or Sprint to get it. Best thing about the phone is the fact that the outside display stays on permanently. I love that feature.

Let me know as well! I have both USCC, (VX6100), and TMobile Samsung E315. I like both of these phones. Would be nice to see a CDMA Samsung for USCC I think.

So then, is, or is not, this phone currently being tested for U.S. Cellular??????

I agree it not only could be, but more than likely "would" be good! I have great luck with my Samsung GSM thru T Mobile. And expect absolutely no less with a CDMA phone "if/when" it's introduced with USCellular!!!

Yes, the phone is in early stages of testing. It is odd that uscc would be selling samsung phones. I don't know much else about it, but I'm wondering if it'll only be available in certain markets ... like St Louis and Chicago? hmmm
